CVEC

The Student and Campus Life Contribution
The law provides that it is collected by the CROUS since 2018 (year in which we also witness the disappearance of the contribution to the student social security system of 217 €). The Student Life and Campus Contribution is 100 € in 2023/2024, one can be subject to it or be exempted from it depending on the case.

It concerns students enrolled in initial training in a higher education institution in France. All students subject to the CVEC must be able to benefit from actions financed by it, whether they have paid it or are exempt, and whether they are in an assigning institution or not. The proceeds of the CVEC must be used to finance actions aimed at promoting social, health, cultural and sports support for students, as well as prevention and health education.
Thus, the actions financed by the CVEC
must be related to one or another of these areas.
Originally the CVEC is anchored in the Student Plan, launched in October 2017, this translates the government's ambition to implement a comprehensive policy in favor of students with the objective of promoting success through better support and improved living conditions on campus.
