Sport and culture
Sport, creative workshops and cultural events are opportunities to enjoy university life and meet other students. F.Et.E. students can take part in university activities under the conditions set by each service.
Sport with the SUAPS
The university sports service (SUAPS) offers team sports, swimming and other aquatic activities, dance, racket sports, martial arts and fitness classes. Facilities include the university sports centre, gymnasium and multisport building.

Discover the ACA² cultural programme
ACA², the university service for cultural and artistic activities, campus life and student associations, organises concerts, performances, film screenings, exhibitions and discussions. The Bernard-Marie Koltès theatre and Pierre Reverdy space are in the Ricœur building; the Maison de l’Étudiant·e also hosts artistic activities and events.
Browse the cultural calendar and season brochure. Each event announcement gives its location, times, booking arrangements and any admission fee. Check the latest information before travelling, particularly for room changes, postponements or campus closures.
Join an artistic workshop
The 2026-2027 ACA² programme includes drawing, modelling, printmaking, theatre, reading aloud, film, photography, podcasting, dance and music. Read the individual workshop page for the expected level, schedule and participation conditions.
You must attend the introductory session before registering for an ACA² workshop, except for the choir and orchestra, which manage their own enrolment. Register afterwards with ACA², subject to available places, bringing proof of your status and a means of payment. Registration normally covers the academic year; exchange students can register for one semester. The service provides the fees and participation rules.

F.Et.E. outings and opportunities to meet French speakers
Outings organised with teachers, orientation activities and student associations provide opportunities to explore the campus and cultural venues, practise French and meet French-speaking students. For departmental outings, the team provides the meeting point, registration instructions, number of places, travel arrangements and any contribution to costs.

Plan your participation and request an adjustment
If you need an adjustment or information about access to a venue, contact SUAPS or ACA² before registering. The Disability and Accessibility Service (SHA) can support you. State the activity, venue and practical access needs so that your visit can be prepared.
