In this section, the F.Et.E department provides information on the tests we organize:

- TCF - Test de Connaissance du Français - For the general public. Important information: This test does not include optional tests for applications for nationality, residence permits or integration.

- TCT - DAP

- Selection tests

 

We organize the TCF for the general public. This is the French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports language level test. It assesses the general French language skills of non-native speakers.

Prerequisites
This test is open to everyone.

Mastery of language structures (18 questions)
Written comprehension (29 questions)


Price
The fee for this test is €100.00. Payment must be made in cash 48 hours before the test, after receiving the invitation.

Any foreign student wishing to enter the first year of a Licence program at a French university can take the TCF-DAP, a certification recognized by the French Ministry of Education. F.Et.E is an approved TCF-DAP center. To take the exam at Université Paris Nanterre, you need to submit an application on the France Éducation International website.

Prerequisites
You must complete an application for prior admission (DAP).

Test format
Oral comprehension (29 questions) - 25 minutes
Mastery of language structures (18 questions) - 15 minutes
Written comprehension (29 questions) - 45 minutes
Written expression (3 exercises) - 60 minutes

Fee
The price of the test is 74,00€.

Important: You must take your TCF-DAP at the university where you applied for admission.

DU: Following your application on the e-candidat platform open for the next semester's campaign will take place in April 2024, if your application is selected, you will receive an invitation to take part in a written selection test.


Following this test, you will be informed whether you will be included in the DU classes for semester 1.
